I'm sure, like many of you, I love lip products! Obsessed really! I picked up a couple of new products when I was out shopping in Manchester last week and thought that I would share them with you.
Contouring has really taken off in recent years, we all want sharper cheekbones and more defined features in general but even if you master the method of application the tools and products that you use have a massive affect on the outcome! The most read post on my blog is my top contour powders (click here to read this). As this post was written back in 2012 I thought I would update you with my favourite and most used powders. I prefer to contour using a powder rather than a cream, I find it quicker and easier. I often use a bronzer to bronze and contour as this speeds up the process however, if you wish to do this be careful that you select a bronzer with little shimmer and definitely no glitter! So onto my pick of what's out there! Those of you who have read my precious post will spot that three of the powders are the same as in 2012 which must say something pretty good about them!
This is a bit of a different post for me but I thought that you may enjoy it! I recently visited London and thought that I would share the pictures with you! Unfortunately it was a business trip so I didn't have much time but here are the things that I did see!
Welcome to the second post in my top 10 series. Today I am going to share my current favourite lip products with you. As someone who loves lipstick and has way too many, it was really hard to chose only 10!
I have something very exciting to share with you today! This is the Origins 'Mix and Mask' box in collaboration with the British Beauty Blogger from Latest in Beauty. The box contains nine skincare products from Origins, some of which are full sized. Origins is my favourite skincare brand so this box is a little piece of heaven for me!
I have decided to start a fun, new, top 10 series! I will select a category and discuss my top 10 products within that category for you! Today we have my favourite picks from high-street/ drugstore make up! These are the top 10 products that really stand out to me for their amazing quality and, of course, affordable price! It was really tough to narrow it down to only 10!
Essie recently launched their Gel Couture polishes and I have six to share with you today. The range is based on the couture catwalks and have fashion- related names. There is a broad range of colours so there is something to suit everyone. They have a gel- like finish and Essie claim that you can get up to 12 days wear out of them. No base coat or UV or LED lamp is needed as with true gel polishes.
Thanks to celebrities such as Kylie Jenner, liquid lipsticks are very popular at the moment! They have great advantages such as easy application, great pigmentation and staying power! I have tried quite a few from various brands and recently I decided to give Jouer Cosmetics a go! This is the first product from them that I have tried and I had heard great things about their liquid lipsticks online! I picked up one of their Long- Wear Lip Creme's in the colour Lychee which is described as a 'matte cool dusty rose'.
I have seen a lot of buzz recently on YouTube regarding the Colourpop Super Shock Shadows and decided to give them a go. They are cream to powder shadows and come in individual, screw top pots.
As you can see from the picture above, I have a pretty large collection of MAC eyeshadows! They are amazing, there is a wide range of colours and finishes to suit everyone. I have lot's of shadows in my collection from various brands but the MAC ones have a special place in my heart! They are the first ones I purchased when I really got into make-up. Woodwinked was my first, followed by Satin Taupe and they are still used on a regular basis to this day! I have repurchased both of them several times! So when I sat down to write this post I wanted it to be a top 10 but I just couldn't select only 10! So here are my favourites!
Today I will be sharing my favourite products from the month of June with you. Some are new products that I have discovered over the last month and some are golden oldies! So let's get started!
I am a big fan of Anastasia Beverly Hills (ABH) products and decided to try the shadows as I'd heard so many great things about them online! As you can see, I have filled up a large Z Palette with 27 shadows. I love warm, neutral and purple toned colours as you can see!
Today I wanted to share my collection of Morphe shadows with you. I only have 9 but I really like them! As a fan of YouTube videos and especially Jaclyn Hill, I've heard a lot about this brand. They are very reasonably priced and offer large palettes and also single shadows like the ones I have. These shadows come in individual magnetic pans so you can add them to a palette. The shadows are the same sized as MAC shadows.
Today I thought it would be fun to share my Makeup Geek eyeshadow collection with you! As you can see, I have quite a lot and I love them! They are amazing quality and affordable! They come in individual, magnetic pans and need to be placed into a palette such as the Z palettes that I have.
