House of Cards
This show is brilliant and is, in my opinion, worth the Netflix subscription fee alone! There are so many plot twists and turns that you can never predict what is going to happen and certainly never get bored! I may be slightly biased with being a politics graduate, but I think anyone would enjoy this show!

90210

Hi Everyone!

Please note: Do not read this if you have not watched the 90210 Season 3 finale. (Spoilers Included).

Well I seem to have started a trend of writing about my favourite TV shows (I have already done The Vampire Diaries and Gossip Girl!) so I thought that I would continue that with a short post about another program that I love, 90210.

I can just about remember the first 90210 way back in the 90s but this post will, obviously, be about the latest show! Season 3 has just finished here in the UK and I was a little disappointed with the finale. I think that GG and TVD had such amazing finales that the 90210 finale seemed like a little bit of an anti climax in comparison. That said it was good! I love the Ivy-Raj storyline! The wedding was amazing and her makeup was gorgeous! She should wear it like that more often! Her lipstick reminded me of MAC's Viva Glam 1. I really wish Raj wasn't dying though, it's so sad.

I am really glad that it has come out about Adrianna's pill swapping. It frustrates me so much when something like that is happening in a show and no one has worked it out! (It's not real life - I know!) Silver is my favourite character in the show and I really hope that she gets a second chance to go to the college of her choice.

The Naomi-Max storyline is so sweet if a little unbelievable! She (similarly to Blair in GG) is pregnant! I can't imagine her with a baby, it would be a little like her sister Jen with a baby - not good! Can't wait to see how that plays out next season.

Season 4 returns in September/ October 2011 in the US but we here in the UK are always a few months behind so maybe January 2012 at a guess. Apparently season 4 will focus on the characters going off to college so the characters of Ryan and Debbie will not be included which is a bit of a shame in my opinion.

Gossip Girl

Hi Everyone!

Note: Do not read this if you have not watched the Gossip Girl Season 4 finale!

I just wanted to write a quick post about one of my favourite TV shows - Gossip Girl! I have watched this show from the very beginning and absolutely love it! Season 4 has just finished in the UK (Around a week or two ago I think - I am a little behind)! and I'm not sure what to make of the season finale! Blair is my favourite character due to her bitchy ways, drive and, of course, her fashion sense and I always hope that she would end up with Chuck! I know that they always fall out and betray each other but I thought that they would come back together in the end! Those of you who have watched the season ending will know that Chuck let her go off with the prince as he believes that he can make her happier than he can! Nooooo! Seeing how hurt Chuck was really brought tears to my eyes. However, in the closing scenes of the show a positive pregnancy test was seen in Blair's waste bin, I imagine that will throw up a few problems for her royal marriage if she's pregnant with Chuck's baby! Maybe it will bring them back together again after all! I certainly hope so! I have read on Wikipedia that Blair begins season 5 planning her royal wedding - I have to admit that despite being a Blair-Chuck fan, I am looking forward to that! Please let her dress be by Marchesa - they are my favourite designers!

Another surprise from the season finale was the twist in the Charlie storyline! So she isn't Serena's cousin! Hmmm interesting! It looks like she'll cause some trouble as it looks like she's teaming up with Georgina! Who's back AGAIN! Don't like her at all, although she is kind of amusing!

I have heard that Jenny and Vanessa are not returning during the next series and I can't say that I am sorry! I can't stand Jenny and really don't understand why everyone forgives her for all of her back stabbing and scheming and Vanessa is boring with a capital B! (Harsh - I know)! I'm hoping that they bring in some exciting new characters soon.

The show is set to return in September (The same month as my beloved Vampire Diaries - woohoo!) of this year and will run until May 2012. The season 4 boxset is due for release on 15 August 2011 in the UK and is available to pre-order now from Amazon

The Vampire Diaries

It's Tuesday and as The Vampire Diaries Season 2 finale screened in the UK last week I won't be getting my usual weekly Damon fix tonight! The Vampire Diaries is my favourite TV show! I love it's characters and it's exciting fast-paced story lines! I'd watch it every day if I could! So I'm going to be counting down the days until the Season 2 box set is released in August (22nd in the UK) and Season 3 begins in September. I guess I'll have to re-watch my Season 1 box set to keep me distracted!
