Urban Decay Deluxe Shadow Box Swatches & Review

Urban Decay Deluxe Shadow Box Set 1 set

I decided to put a review and some swatches together for you about the Urban Decay Deluxe Shadow Box. The box contains 9 of UD's Deluxe shadows that are also all available to buy individually. The box is made from faux suade and is in Urban Decay's classic purple colour. There is also an eyecatching silver mesh on the front of the box. The box has a snap- shut magnetic closing and also contains 2 eyeshadow applicators. The palette comes with a travel size Primer Potion which is great as you can never to many of those!

Here are the swatches (shown on NW20 skin) and brief descriptions -

(L TO R) Fishnet, Honey, Ransom, Graffiti

(L to R) Zero, Peace, Shag, Scratch, Underground

Fishnet - Iridescent pink/ purple
Honey - Glistening golden shade
Ransom - Vibrant purple
Graffiti - Vibrant bright green
Zero - True black
Peace - Shimmering turquoise
Shag - Creamy cashmere
Scratch - Light pink champagne
Underground - Medium fawn

This is an amazing palette and excellent value. The colours are really pigmented and brilliant quality. They are smooth and easy to apply and stay in place over the primer potion all day.
Scratch makes an ideal brow highlight colour. Honey, Shag and Underground are great all over lid colours for that beautiful neutral eye. Zero is your classic true black shade that is great to have in any palette. It is great at darkening your outer lid area and also to use as an eyeliner as it has real staying power!
Ransom, Fishnet, Graffiti and Peace are very bright and, as I previously mentioned, extremely pigmented. They are ideal if you want a seriously bright eye look or to smudge along the lower lash line for that pop of colour to brighten up a more neutral eye.
The stand out shades for me are Ransom and Peace and I would definately purchase them again individually when they run out.
Overall, 5 stars out of 5 from me!
